This month's Disclosure covers a major step forward for how teams work together in Hebbia. We expanded Projects, added new finance-specific Skills and Agents, and continued to advance Matrix as a workflow engine – where one analysis can feed the next. We also shipped improvements to presentation quality, document parsing, and model performance.

Projects Update: Shared Spaces for Your Whole Team

Projects have been significantly expanded. Here's what's new:

  • Publish Chats and Matrices to a Project – Share your work with everyone in a project in one click. Published Matrices automatically inherit the project's permissions, so editors and viewers are always in sync. Published Chats share a static snapshot that any project member can read or fork to continue the conversation. Organize published Chats and Matrices into folders.
  • Project Instructions – Add custom instructions to tailor Chat responses to your project's context. Instructions are useful for deal-specific terminology, scope, or preferences shared across your team.
  • Project Activity Tab – View shared activity across project collaborators to see what your team is up to.
  • Email Agent  – Meet Hebbia's Intern, the analyst agent that lives in your inbox. Email intern@hebbia.ai to research over public sources, query projects, or generate presentations and documents. Get back completed work with citations and generated artifacts as attachments.

Improved Presentation and Document Quality

New capabilities to ensure outputs from Hebbia meet the standards your clients and colleagues expect. Here's what's new:

  • Create multi-slide decks from Chat – Generate multi-slide presentations from a single chat prompt, using a natural language slide creation flow. Refine as needed to create client-ready PowerPoint presentations: edit layouts and sources, reorder, add, and delete slides, and regenerate individual slides with Chat as the interface.
  • Save Created Presentations as Templates – Presentations drafted through Chat or Matrix can be saved as structured style and format templates. Build multi-part presentations, template your best work, and automate the process next time with an agent.

Banking, Investing, and Advisory Workflows

Hebbia encodes the specific workflows, vocabulary, and data sources that finance and legal professionals rely on. Here's what's new:

  • Global Agent Library Hundreds of finance- and legal-specific Agents are now available to all organizations by default. Pre-built automations are accessible in the Agents sidebar and cover common workflows across earnings analysis, contract review, and more. Org admins can enable or disable individual Agents from the Admin settings panel.
  • Company Screening Skill Describe the universe of companies you're looking for by size, industry, or qualitative attributes, and Hebbia understands the nuanced vocabulary and semantics of your request, prioritizes the most relevant sources, and returns a structured table of matching companies. Draws on structured data from CapIQ and FactSet alongside filings, news, and the web.
  • Precedent Transactions Skill – A built-in Skill that runs the full precedent transactions workflow natively in Chat. Describe how you want precedents pulled – by a specific company or within a sector. Hebbia identifies comparable deals, and returns precedent transactions with deal value, revenue, and multiples you can use for your benchmarking.

Matrix as your Workflow Engine

With the latest updates, Matrix better connects its large-scale analysis to the rest of your research stack. Here’s what’s new:

  • Matrix as a source in Chat (beta) – Attach any Matrix to a Chat – then ask questions, pull in additional sources, and let Chat synthesize alongside everything else in your research context.
  • Matrix as a source in Matrix (beta) – Use one Matrix to feed another. Extract information from individual documents in one Matrix, then synthesize those results further in a second Matrix. Beta access available to select users on request.
  • Updated Matrix Chat – Matrix Chat is now built for the full scale of your workflow output. Reason across thousands of rows and synthesize across large grids without leaving the interface.
  • Workflow View for Matrix – See your Matrix the way it actually works: as a workflow. Workflow View surfaces the full dependency graph – which columns feed which, what triggers downstream runs, and where notifications fire.

Platform Updates

Improvements to the foundation that powers your work. Here's what's new:

  • Improved Document Parsing – Documents uploaded to Hebbia now go through an advanced parsing pipeline with significantly better handling of tables, charts, and scanned pages.
  • GPT-5.4 in Hebbia – Access OpenAI's latest model directly in Chat and Matrix.
  • Updated Fine-Tuned Chat – Chat and Deep Research now run on a new model fine-tuned for financial and legal workflows. Outputs are more precise in tone, language, and structure, with better table formatting, consistent unit abbreviations, and appropriate citation density.
  • Model-Agnostic Workflows – Build your workflow once; let Hebbia keep it current. Matrix automatically routes to the best available model as new versions are released.
  • In-product Feedback for Chat & Deep Research – Users can now provide feedback with commentary directly in the app for any Chat or Deep Research response. Tell us what you like or report issues within the response with the ease of a few clicks.
